We continue to make progress with our latest micropub, The Fox Cub, in Barrow Upon Soar. We had hoped we would open in the early Autumn but have suffered a setback or two, the longest being six weeks when we discovered the cottage next door had no foundations! We still hope to be open for Christmas.
 
We have appointed Karen Moffatt to manage the pub and she starts with us at Charnwood Brewery in October. Karen will spend some time familiarising herself with the workings of the brewery as well as helping out in both The Sorrel Fox and Hall Croft Tap. Karen will also be looking to employ staff from the village to work a session or two every week; if you’re interested in working there then please email Karen at hello@charnwoodbrewery.co.uk.
